Field Trips

The Weeden House is a great place for local students to learn the diverse history of Huntsville and of the life of internationally- known artist Howard Weeden.

Students are divided into groups and explore the Weeden House on a "history hunt". There are 8 stations around the house where kids are asked about details of the architecture, Howard's artwork and 19th century history.

The Weeden House will be closed for Thanksgiving weekend, and history tours will not be offered Thursday, November 27-Sunday, November 30th.
